Double Agent Donald: Justice is the New ‘American Dream’

Trump question mark

I had many misgivings about Donald Trump from the beginning. Early on, I was deeply bothered by his flip-flopping on important issues when the slightest little bit of pressure was applied to him. During the campaign, I was greatly bothered by the fact that Trump openly came out against private property rights by supporting the disastrous Kelo vs. New London Supreme Court opinion, and also supported the Homeland Security police state fraud against the American people.

After a highly-questionable Orlando night club shooting, Trump was already showing his true colors, caving on the gun issue.

Now, as I write these words, the Republican president, Mr. Donald Trump, who promised to “drain the swamp” in Washington D.C., is looking for new ways to disarm the American people — including actions that he plans to take by executive order. Strange, I think I've seen this movie before. Oddly enough, it appears to be a sequel to that horror flick freak show that ran continuously during the previous administration, whose party affiliation began with the letter “D”.

I won't get into all of the oddities, weirdness, and questions I have regarding the Parkland, Florida school shooting, including the multiple warnings the FBI willfully ignored, the numerous times local law enforcement visited the alleged shooter's home, the fact that the sheriff deputies dutifully waited outside as the deadly rampage was taking place, or that more than one eyewitness reported other shooters, the possible role of radical Islam, etc. Many of those are topics we've already discussed on radio, so if anyone is interested in hearing about it all, I will refer you to our broadcasts of February 17th and February 24th.

Suffice it to say that we have yet another Sandy Hook -style media circus, complete with questionable characters being paraded in the media for the express purpose of propagandizing the American people to allow the government to chip away at our firearms rights yet again.

Rather than standing firm in the face of an obviously carefully-orchestrated and well-funded media campaign, the Republicans — led by the bombastic blowhard in the Oval Office — are falling all over themselves to stab their constituent bases in the back by finding ways to placate, pacify, and pucker the hind holes of the anti-Constitution communists on the left.

Perhaps we should ban bump stocks... Maybe we need extensive mental health screening... I support the Second Amendment, but... You don't need an assault rifle to duck hunt...

Republicans are sounding more like Democrats all of the time. Their fearless leader — or perhaps more accurately, fearless “traitor”, Donald J. Trump — is “all in” with the gun grabbers, even sitting next to a giddy Diane Feinstein at a meeting where he pressured the Congress to send him a gun control bill that he can sign.

In a Breitbart article, titled, Trump Wants Joe Manchin's Gun Control, Rejects Steve Scalise's National Reciprocity Push, the extent of the Trump betrayal on the gun issue is laid bare.

President Donald Trump embraced Sen. Joe Manchin’s (D-WV) gun control bill but rejected Rep. Steve Scalise’s (R-LA) push for national reciprocity during a bipartisan meeting with lawmakers Wednesday afternoon.

After listening to Sen Chris Murphy (D-CT), Trump looked at toward the end of the table and asked Sens. Pat Toomey (R-PA) and Joe Manchin (D-WV) to detail their gun control bill.

The Manchin/Toomey gun control bill is the same universal background check legislation supported by Barack Obama in the wake of the heinous attack on Sandy Hook Elementary School. It the very bill that was defeated in the Democrat-controlled Senate on April 17, 2013.

Toomey described it for Trump, saying the bill “strengthens the reporting of information into the background check system” and “requires background checks on all commercial sales.” This is code-talk for requiring background checks on private gun sales, which Toomey described as sales at gun shows and online (even though online sales already require a background check).

Manchin then spoke and suggested that West Virginians will support the Manchin/Toomey gun control bill if Trump will support it. He did not mention that the Manchin/Toomey bill would not have prevented the Florida attack — just as it would not have prevented the Sandy Hook attack that spawned it.

Trump spoke of the using the Manchin/Toomey bill “as a base” to which other gun bills can be added, and then continued taking comments from various senators and representatives in attendance.

Setting aside the fact that the Republican reciprocity bill was actually a Trojan Horse piece of legislation in and of itself, anyone who would vote for Donald Trump after this act of extreme betrayal, is worse than hopeless. You're not even part of the problem; you are the problem. You are a hopeless partisan who really cares nothing about the real issues facing your country. You are the shallowest of patriots, supporting your party and your puppet team, as they lead you and your country down the sheep path and over the cliff.

Yet, this writer goes to Twitter and sees a Photoshopped picture posted, which depicts Hillary Clinton, Eric Holder, Barack Obama, James Comey, Loretta Lynch, Al Sharpton, and a bunch of others in shackles, being herded by a guard. On the side, is a beaming Donald Trump, wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat and giving a two thumbs up sign.

go to jail meme

As appealing a notion as the meme is for Americans who crave genuine justice for those that have blatantly disregarded our rights, our Constitution, and the law, the meme has zero basis in reality. It is pure political fiction — especially given the very words of Mr. Trump, himself, who, after months of coining the phrase “crooked Hillary” to describe his opponent in the 2016 election, even going so far as to say during a debate that he would lock her up, only to immediately reverse course after becoming president-elect. In a 60 minutes interview, he stabbed his supporters in the back by saying he didn't want to “hurt” the Clinton's because they were “good people”.

Since the founding of the United States, the American people have striven hard for an imaginery and intangible achievement that, once obtained, was promised to guarantee their satisfaction: The American Dream. It once was sold to us as the motivation for our hard work and sacrifice, that, at the end of all of our blood, sweat, tears, and long suffering endurance of countless acts theft, terror, and war, committed by our government, that we could have a pittance left that we can refer to as “our property”.

Many decades have come and gone, and the suited sweet-talkers in D.C. have levied more of “our property” to give away to themselves, their friends, their big dollar donors, and foreign governments and groups — many of which hate our guts. Many Americans can no longer afford a place to live. Homelessness is on the rise in many big cities. Holding the bag for the federal cartel, is always the poor, easily-swindled American, wishing to get ahead, hoping for a better day, and lapping up the lies of the charismatic, like a thirsty camel at a desert oasis.

If the tired refrain of a well-worn promise becomes too much to bear, the Washington wordsmiths will provide a new anthem: the promise of justice. Indeed, justice is the new “American dream”. Cries of “drain the swamp” permeate the land, as the disenfranchised downtrodden play another game of “whack-a-mole”, attempting to achieve the new “American dream”.

If we can say anything for Mr. Trump, it is that he is a media marketing maverick — the maker of monikers: “Crooked Hillary” Clinton, “Sloppy Steve” Bannon, “Lyin' Ted” Cruz, “Low Energy Jeb” Bush, “Liddle Marco” Rubio, and who could ever forget the ever brilliant “Little Rocket Man” to describe the North Korean dictator, Kim Jong Un?

Well, if you rise by the monikers, you politically fall by the monikers, Mr. President. From now on, you will forever be known as “Double Agent Donald”. You are a traitor to the good people of our country and are not worthy of the trust and honor bestowed upon you as their sitting president.

Watch as Double Agent Donald slaps down the Second Amendment and his base, by pushing for more gun control. It is vital to note that anything politicians push as a solution, will not stop someone who is determined to kill people. It will only make them difficult to impossible to obtain for millions of Americans who lawfully use firearms every day for self-defense and recreation.

It has never been clearer that you cannot vote your way out of the nightmare. One truthful thing Trump did say on the campaign trail, was that the election game is rigged.

Will the American people ever quit dreaming? Will they ever wake up to the realities of the depth of their betrayal? Will they ever abandon their tendencies toward hero worship? Perhaps it is naive, but this writer is hopeful that the masses will some day hold the traitors of all parties accountable. We can only hope it isn't after they have lost all of their wealth, their rights, their privacy, their freedom.
