The following is from a CNN article yesterday:
President Donald Trump has ordered staff to execute the "full" and "rapid" withdrawal of US military from Syria, declaring that the US has defeated ISIS.
"We have defeated ISIS in Syria, my only reason for being there during the Trump Presidency," Trump tweeted Wednesday morning. Planning for the pullout is already underway, a US defense official and an administration official told CNN.
The decision, a sharp reversal from previously stated US policy, surprised foreign allies and lawmakers, sparking rebukes, rebuttals and warnings of intensified congressional oversight, even as the White House said troops are already on their way home.
How predictable are the crimes, deceptions, and propaganda of the "Deep State"?
The last two times Trump ordered the troops out of Syria, there were #FalseFlag events that were designed to make it appear that Assad had gassed his own people. Be on the lookout for something like this to happen again. Too much $ to be made by the #MilitaryIndustrialComplex

If Trump stays the course on the Syria pullout, everyone should be on watch for another neocon #FalseFlag where Assad can be blamed for some terrorist act. We've seen this before. The Deep State cannot tolerate the president pulling... https://t.co/BByhVWvCyk

I feel like I'm seeing another remake of an old movie.
Back in April, I wrote about the struggle the Deep State establishment was having with the president, attempting to keep him in line with the war agenda. At the time, it appeared they were winning — solely because every time Trump ordered the troops out of Syria, something would happen that Assad could be blamed for, and the event could be used as leverage to force the president's hand to keep troops in tact.
The encouraging note, however, was in the form of an AP article, which noted that Trump was increasingly growing weary of the staff around him ("the Swamp") who fought his efforts to end the war and pull out the troops. The article was a rare look inside the administration, and proof from the insiders, themselves, that they are working as a Shadow Government, attempting to control foreign policy, against the president's wishes.
The latest pronouncement from the president ignites this battle anew, and the pro-war think tank trolls are not happy! They are gearing up for a fight.
It is "extraordinarily shortsighted and naive," said Charles Lister, a senior fellow at the Middle East Institute, who added that the decision will not only leave Iran hawks -- including lawmakers and Cabinet members such as national security adviser John Bolton and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo -- feeling "betrayed," but also plant the seeds for rebellion among Republican ranks. "This is a specifically Trumpian decision, and one that will be deeply unpopular within the vast majority of the GOP's foreign policy machine," Lister said. "Whether it takes hours or months, we will see some serious resistance coming out of this."
What kind of "resistance" can we look forward to this time? Another alleged "gassing" to be blamed on Assad? An alleged terrorist attack? Perhaps Bashar al-Assad could be blamed for the mold in your refrigerator.
Whatever they decide to do, the next few days/weeks are going to be interesting. Stay tuned.
So hard to believe that Lindsey Graham would be against saving soldier lives & billions of $$$. Why are we fighting for our enemy, Syria, by staying & killing ISIS for them, Russia, Iran & other locals? Time to focus on our Country & bring our youth back home where they belong!
