| "Let us face reality. The framers have simply been too shrewd for us. They have outwitted us. They designed separated institutions that cannot be unified by mechanical linkages, frail bridges, tinkering. If we are to 'turn the founders upside down' — to put together what they put asunder — we must directly confront the Constitutional structure they erected ... Constitutional Convention: A Gridlock of Fact and Fiction
The call for a constitutional Convention (Con-Con) is on the march throughout this country; it is armed and it is dangerous.
The Effort to Dismantle Our Constitution
A history, past and current, outlining the ongoing effort by the International financial powers to open the Constitution in order to impose their radical changes. Their delivery system is mainly deceived and uninformed state legislators. The perpetrators and their minions know well what they are doing.
Constitution for the Newstates of America
In the event you would be inclined to dismiss the relevance of the proposed new constitution, bear in mind that it is the product of a tax-exempt think-tank which took ten years, $25,000,000.00 and the collaboration of over one-hundred like-minded individuals. "It would be folly to believe this investment is intended to be merely an exercise in political theory. The frightening reality is, the planners are serious in their efforts to impose a new constitution upon the people of America as we enter the 21st Century."
— Col. Arch Roberts, Committee to Restore the Constitution
Chief Justice Burger on the Constitutional Convention
"I have also repeatedly given my opinion that there is no effective way to limit or muzzle the actions of a Constitutional Convention. The convention could make its own rules and set its own agenda."
Unbridled Powers of Delegates in a Constitutional Convention
From Corpus Jurus Secundum 16 C.J.S 9:"Their power may not in any respect be limited or restrained by the legislature. "Under this view, it is a Legislative Body of the Highest Order (4)."
Govern America Radio Broadcast - November 30, 2013
In the first two hours of this important broadcast, Aaron Bolinger and David Whitney joined us to discuss the history and dangers of the Constitutional Convention (a.k.a. "Convention of States" or "Article V Amendment Convention")
There is no position which depends on clearer principles, than that every act of a delegated authority, contrary to the tenor of the commission under which it is exercised, is void. No legislative act, therefore, contrary to the Constitution, can be valid. To deny this, would be to affirm, that the deputy is greater than his principal; that the servant is above his master; that the representatives of the people are superior to the people themselves; that men acting by virtue of powers, may do not only what their powers do not authorize, but what they forbid.
—Alexander Hamilton on the subjugation of federal power to the states, Federalist Papers #78

The right to keep and bear arms boils down to the right to defend ones' self, their family, and property. Self-defense is a basic human right which cannot be rightfully encroached.
Guns will always be available to those who want to act illegally. If they were made illegal, that would create a black market where criminals would smuggle them. They can also be illegally manufactured from raw materials. So making guns illegal, will only serve to take them out of the hands of those that need them for self-defense — the law-abiding citizens.
Guns are used, every day, to stop robberies, burglaries, and acts of violent crime. You will never hear about these events on the mainstream (controlled) national media for two reasons:
1. Since the gunman was stopped early on, he was unable to victimize many people, if any at all, therefore it doesn't make for a good story for the sensationalist national news media. Remember, it only leads if it bleeds.
2. More importantly, the use of guns in the thwarting of violent crime doesn't fit the agenda of the national media to demonize guns by portraying them as evil tools to be used only in the slaughter of innocent people. Hence, stories making guns look good don't fit the template.
Guns are tools, which can be used for good or evil. The same hammer than can be used to bludgeon a person to death, can be used to build a house for a homeless person. It's time to quit blaming the tools and recognize that guns are used for benevolent purposes every single day. Many victims of crime that you will read about in these pages would not be alive today, had the "Gun Control" proponents had their way and firearms had been banned.
It is for this reason, we present this collection of documented, real-life stories of people using guns to save lives — a phenomenon which is far more common than the Gun Control proponents would have you believe. Link to this page. Share these stories. Don't allow the media to convince you to give up your God-given right to self-defense.

Patrick M. Wood founded The August Corporation on October 11, 1975. As a registered investment advisor with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the company initially offered portfolio management services to investors in the United States.
In 1978, Wood commenced publication of The Trilateral Observer (TO), to specifically track and document the activities of The Trilateral Commission, which was then seen to be the very core of elitism and multi-nationalism in the United States and abroad. TO was co-edited by Professor Antony Sutton, formerly a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution for War, Peace and Revolution at Stanford University.
Together, and after encouragement from many TO subscribers, Wood and Professor Sutton re-edited their material and produced two successive book volumes, Trilaterals Over Washington - Volume I and Trilaterals Over Washington - Volume II.
Trilaterals Over Washington quickly became a best-seller and over the course of about two years, sold over 75,000 copies internationally. The books were very well received for excellent scholarship and original research, and even became a frequently-used textbook in political science classes at many colleges in U.S. universities.
When President Ronald Reagan entered the Oval Office in early 1981, August's formal publishing activities ground to a halt. Conservative supporters figured that "Ronnie" would purge the Trilateral threat. Liberal supporters felt so defeated that they just gave up.
In 1981, Wood founded World Research Library (WRL) which was granted 501c(3) status by the Internal Revenue Service. Research and library material was donated to WRL.
In early 2005, Wood and his family moved from northern California to northern Idaho, to engage a simpler lifestyle and resume the original research and publishing activities to expose the super-elitists (like members of the Trilateral Commission), who continue to have a death-grip on the U.S. national sovereignty, foreign policy and many economic activities that supercede America's national borders.
Wood founded The August Review as the official publication of World Research Library, which later evolved into The August Review and Forecast and finally Technocracy.news. Wood's latest book is Technocracy Rising: The Trojan Horse of Global Transformation.
