I have absolutely zero doubt that the government is spying on anything and everything they can, and that the intelligentsia sucks up every bit of data possible, like a hungry hurricane sucking up ocean water. I have believed this long before I ever heard the name Edward Snowden. I have even, at times, articulated as much to the white hot, seering branding iron of ridicule that the intellectually-lazy wield, its label visibly shining with the ever-convenient moniker of "Conspiracy Theorist". As the old saying goes, sticks and stones... my friends. In these post-Snowden days, it is I who ridicule their naivity, their lack of depthness, their quickness to dismiss anything that challenges their preoccupied and pacified minds. If only the sweetness of vindication could be divorced from the bitterness of its reality!
With the aforementioned disclaimer in place, I must say that I've never really bought into the official story of the Edward Snowden "leaks". There are a number of questions, concerns, and outright problems which render the whole Snowden government and media narrative highly implausible, if not downright impossible — unless you're one of those intellectually-lazy people, carrying the branding iron.
The Snowden affair with its "revelations" has the stench of a Limited Hangout, which is an operation that is used by intelligence agencies and strategists to manipulate, confuse and throw off the public. The idea is that by revealing or admitting certain details, the public will become so preoccupied with the released information, that they won't dig any further. Meanwhile, the really key information continues to be hidden and protected from scrutiny. This would explain beautifully the strategy of continual leaks. As long as there is a constant drip of new "revelations", the Establishment media can lead the public by the nose down a wild bunny trail and safely away from anything of real consequence.
Furthermore, with each new "crisis", there is the opportunity to push a dialectical agenda. One thing that I've learned during the many years that I've been involved in the truth movement, is that whenever the Establishment media hammers a dialectic, there's nearly always some greater purpose behind it.
Introducing the "Snowden Treaty":
In 2013 Edward Snowden, a U.S. whistleblower, made data available to journalists showing the previously unimaginable scale of the U.S. and other governments’ mass and untargeted surveillance of their citizens.
This breach of millions of people’s privacy is in direct contravention of international human right law. In particular, the right to privacy is enshrined in Article 12 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and Article 17 of the International Convention on Civil and Political Rights.
Protecting the right to privacy is vital not just in itself but because it is an essential requirement for the exercise of freedom of opinion and expression, the most fundamental pillars of democracy.
Despite doing us a tremendous public service by bringing these abuses to light, Edward Snowden was forced to flee certain incarceration in the U.S.
These revelations, and the treatment meted out to Snowden, have revealed the need for greater rights protections for citizens globally. We are campaigning for governments to sign up to the Snowden Treaty, a proposed treaty that would curtail mass surveillance and protect the rights of whistleblowers.

Collectively we can raise the pressure on governments around the world to genuinely protect our rights!
This is a classic case of the Hegelian dialectic. First, the intelligence spooks and Establishment media, themselves, reveal to you what they've been doing to you for years — under the false flag pretense of a "whistleblower leak". Then, after giving the "explosive revelations" a while to boil and fester, they present to you their prepackaged "solution" to the problem that they created — and it just happens to be another "solution" that will bring us closer to the ultimate goal. What goal? Undermining national sovereignty in favor of international law.
Snowden Treaty is the project of an international document with standards against mass surveillance and espionage to be presented at the United Nations. In this treaty, human rights pertaining to an individuals' privacy and unnecessary subjection to arbitrary or unlawful interference in private life will be safeguarded. Moreover, it would establish the exercise of the right to privacy is an essential requirement for the realization of the right to freedom of opinion and expression on an international scale.
First of all, an international treaty will accomplish absolutely nothing to stop mass surveillance. The surveillance that is being done is already illegal under the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution which says,
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
Is anyone really stupid enough to believe that an international treaty will stop the NSA from doing what it does? If they don't respect and abide by U.S. law, do you really believe that they will abide by an international treaty? How many treaties have been agreed to, then violated by the U.S. government? They do what they want, when it suits them. They don't care about the law, the Constitution which is the chief law of the land, and they will not care about any stupid treaty. If they did, a simple act of Congress to defund the agency, and others like it, could shut down their operations. They could, furthermore, criminalize the collection of the data without a warrant.
None of this will ever happen, of course, because the Establishment, who pull the strings, want intelligence agencies collecting information on the public.
You're their enemy! They're stealing everything you have, sapping you dry, along with your children, grandchildren, and your great grandchildren for generations to come. They're smart enough to know that, at some point, you're going to realize this, en masse. It isn't much of a stretch for them to imagine that you're probably not going to be too thrilled about it, especially when your bellies are rumbling from hunger. This is why they want you disarmed, and this is why you're being treated like potential terrorists. It's kind of ironic, isn't it? Now it is they who are wielding the iron, and you who are the branded.
But never fear, my fellow Gitmo inmates. I hear the forced tube feedings happen multiple times a day. Your world government is coming to the rescue. Out of the skillet, into the fire.
