The Ghost of Morganthau Haunts Our House

The British, Soviets and US were the three countries to decide Germany's fate at the end of WWII. The plan they came up with was the Morganthau Plan. The idea was to demilitarize Germany and turn it into a "pastoral state" - agriculture so that they could never again rise militarily. Herbert Hoover took a trip to Germany and came back with a report that said that 25,000,000 people would die if they implemented that plan. General George Marshall then came up with the Marshall Plan to rebuild Europe's industrial base - including Germany.
I believe that the national security state and Britain turned the plan around on us and since the early 1960s they've been destroying our schools and economic future. Replace agriculture with "services" and you can see the Morganthau Plan was turned on us.
