Here is an article from 1990 on the Japanese Keiretsu and the argument for an American version. A Keiretsu is a monopoly of supply chain. It's led by a bank. A Keiretsu is a process monopoly. We only had laws concerning a monopoly of a single business that was trying to "own" the whole market - for example electricity generating companies in the 1920's - ending in the 1930s with the Public Utilities Holding Company Act of 1935. Utilities became regulated monopolies (because of the cost of start-up, operations and essential first input to any kind of modern business in the early industrial era).
A process monopoly is an end-to-end monopoly of separate companies operating in concert led by a bank.

We had laws preventing banks from being investors in their customer's businesses but that was changed sometime in the 1990s. In fact, there was a wave of deregulation in banking, insurance, the securities and commodities markets all of which contributed to the gutting of our economy.

I mentioned Gregory Mankiw and the redefinition of manufacturing. On page 19 of this powerpoint, I include a quote from Mankiw as it pertains to defining what is manufacturing. Government statistics were showing how our productive capacity had been gutted and the Bush Administration was trying to cover it up with redefinitions.

This is very intense material because it was the conversion of our country from a capitalist country to a fascist country. It was all done under the radar for the majority of people (including me). See page 5. There is a graph showing the percentage of our economy that was manufacturing which was why Gregory Mankiw was trying to define the production of a McDonald's hamburger as manufacturing.

They had already killed our manufacturing economy and then they went for the "Services" economy massively importing H-1b's from India to take the services jobs at a lower price. A service is a person or a job. Services are white collar jobs. For example, an accounting firm, a systems consultant (category of what I did for a living - programmer, analyst), lawyers, doctors, etc.
I think this is going to be all. I could go on because I was totally focused on what was happening to the economy which is that it was being gutted. And at the same time, our country was being invaded at the southern border.
